A place to work together
Named after a place where people did exactly that.
The name
Le Mont-Pèlerin is a small mountain above Vevey, on the north shore of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. In the spring of 1947, a few dozen scholars from different countries travelled there, stayed in a hotel on the hillside, and spent ten days working through hard questions together. They had not been in the same room for years. Being there, in one place, at the same time, is what made the work possible.
We named our online coworking place after the mountain because that is the thing we are trying to recreate: a quiet place with a view, where people who are serious about their work can sit near each other and get it done.
Mont Pelerin is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Mont Pelerin Society, Mt Pelerin SA, Microsoft, or any hotel or property on Mont-Pèlerin. The name refers to the place.
What we are building
Mont Pelerin is an online coworking place for teams and independents. Members book sessions, work in live rooms, message and call each other, and keep a daily rhythm of goals and debriefs. Teams get a private floor; everyone else shares public rooms.
We charge a simple monthly membership. We do not sell advertising inside the product and we do not sell member data. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and why.
